Background

Later in life, I studied communication and visual design, which gave me timeless foundations: hierarchy, structure, storytelling. I then specialized in motion and branding, where my role was often to take fuzzy, half-formed ideas and turn them into something people could actually understand. That’s where I learned to design in time, not just screens, but sequences, cause and effect, and moments of clarity.

Today, I’m a Senior Product Designer. I spent the last 6 years at CoachHub, a digital coaching platform serving users across 20+ markets and languages, where I built and led a communication design team and now focus on product design, working on experiences where people learn, reflect, and make decisions about their careers and growth.

Faris the Question Machine Cat
No matter the role or team, one habit follows me: I ask why. Why does this exist? Why is it made this way? Why does this matter to you? A good friend once made me a board-game card and called me “Faris the Question Machine Cat.” It stuck — because curiosity isn’t a phase for me. It’s how I operate.

I bring strong visual craft, motion thinking, and systems awareness, designing experiences that help people feel oriented rather than overwhelmed, where aesthetics shape understanding and trust.

When I’m not designing, I explore Berlin by bike, photograph wildlife, train Muay Thai, stay curious about different cultures, and experiment in the kitchen.
